Conecta PNE

In this UX case study, we focus on the power of data visualization to uncover insights within raw data, facilitating understanding and knowledge production. The field of education has seen a growing interest in harnessing data to enhance the quality of educational systems. Specifically, numerous platforms have emerged with data related to the National Education Plan (PNE), which supports monitoring goals established by Brazilian law. Our project aimed to address the gaps in existing platforms and develop a solution that caters to the unique needs of various user profiles.

As a senior UX Researcher on this project, I led the efforts to investigate the shortcomings of existing educational data platforms. To achieve this, we conducted a thorough analysis of these platforms, focusing on their alignment with the goals of PNE. Our investigation revealed that a solution was still needed to provide personalized views tailored to the needs of different user profiles and to offer effective and accessible support for decision-making by educational managers.

Based on these findings, we developed a platform called Conecta PNE. The platform combines data visualization techniques with a user-centered approach to deliver a personalized experience to various stakeholders within the educational sector. Conecta PNE ensures that civic managers have access to crucial insights that facilitate informed decision-making, ultimately driving improvements in the quality of education systems. By creating a platform that bridges the gap between raw data and actionable insights, we have empowered users to make data-driven decisions that contribute to the success of the National Education Plan. As one of the Senior UX Researcher in the team, I played a pivotal role in identifying user needs and translating them into requirements to develop a platform that effectively addresses the challenges faced by civic managers in the educational area.
